Description
Dr. Goertzen is a proud graduate of the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, where he also completed a residency in general dentistry. He then went on to complete a one-year surgical residency at the University of Colorado Anschutz campus, expanding his expertise in both oral surgery and implant dentistry. Dr. Goertzen especially enjoys extractions and implant placements, as they allow him to help patients regain full function (especially full chewing function to denture patients) and confidence in their smiles. Originally from Salisbury, MD, he enjoys an active lifestyle: snowboarding in Colorado, golfing in Arizona, and currently training for the Phoenix Marathon! When it’s time to refuel, you can find Dr. Goertzen reaching for his favorite meal: buffalo wings (but really anything with buffalo sauce on it).
